Cape Phipps was applied to Ocean Cape by some of the early hydrographers, and in 1823 it was applied by Captain C. V. Kromchenko to Point Carew. by Baker (1906, p. 496), U.S. Geological Survey (USGS), and ""Phipps Bay Peninsual"" by International Boundary Commission (IBC) in 1928." |
